Are you a journalist looking for advice or mentorship?

As a reporter, I have to recognize my privilege. The very least I can do is give my time to other journalists to help them in whatever way I can. I have experience covering rural issues, crime, courts and higher education. I’ve also covered more sensitive topics like suicide, hazing, food insecurity and poverty. I know what it’s like to work for frustrating editors, struggle to find a good work/life balance, and try to create cultural change within my newsroom. All that to say, I get it and I’m happy to try and help.
